Sample Flight Itineraries: Your Ticket to Inspiration

As a fellow travel enthusiast, I know how exciting it is to plan a big trip. But sometimes, staring at a blank calendar and endless flight options can feel a bit overwhelming. That's where sample itineraries come in handy! 728*90

I love putting together sample flight plans for popular destinations. It's a great way to get inspired and see what's possible, even if you end up tweaking things later. Plus, it's just plain fun to virtually "take a trip" and imagine yourself jetting off to exotic locales.

One of my favorite sample itineraries is a round-the-world adventure hitting up some bucket list spots. Imagine flying from New York to London, then hopping over to Dubai. From there, you could head to the Maldives for some beach bliss, then on to Bangkok and Tokyo before circling back to the US. It's a lot of travel, but broken up into manageable legs.

Another fun one is a multi-city European jaunt. Start in Paris, then take the train to Amsterdam. From there, fly to Barcelona, and end in Rome. This itinerary lets you sample a nice variety of cultures and cuisines, with easy connections between cities.
For a more focused trip, I've put together sample plans for places like Hawaii, Costa Rica, and Thailand. These show how you can maximize your time and see the highlights, with smart flight routings. For example, in Hawaii you could fly into Honolulu, then island hop to Maui and the Big Island before returning home. The great thing about these sample itineraries is that they're just a starting point. You can use them as-is, or tweak them to fit your interests and schedule. I always recommend building in a little flexibility too, in case you find an amazing deal or want to extend your stay somewhere. So if you're feeling stuck in the trip planning process, take a look at some sample flight itineraries. They might just spark your imagination and get you one step closer to booking that dream getaway. Happy travels!

Terrell Davis considering legal action against United Airlines United Airlines has apologized to Hall of Fame running back Terrell Davis after an incident that led him to be handcuffed and removed from a flight. Will that be enough to pacify Davis? Davis, his wife and his attorney appeared on CBS’ Good Mornings on Wednesday to discuss the incident, which he called a “ disgusting display of injustice .” His attorney, Parker Stinar, said legal action is being considered. “They need to be held accountable,” Stinar said. “We would love to see policy change. We think that’s very important, beginning with a sincere, true apology.” Davis and his wife, Tamiko, were flying with their three children from Denver to Orange County, California, for a family vacation at Disneyland. Davis said when he tapped a flight attendant’s arm to get his attention,   the flight attendant accused Davis   of hitting him.
