Massive Worldwide Microsoft Outage: Flights, Markets, Stock Exchange Down

Spicejet and Akasa Air are facing technical issues that is affecting booking, check-in and flight updates.

New Delhi:

From flights to supermarkets to banking operations, the global Microsoft outage is disrupting multiple sectors and threatens to lead to massive issues if it is not resolved soon. In India, almost all air carriers -- Vistara, IndiGo, SpiceJet and Akasa Air -- are facing technical issues that are affecting booking, check-in and flight updates. The airlines are now checking in passengers manually.

"We're currently facing a technical issue in providing updates on flight disruptions. Our team is actively working to resolve this issue. We regret for any inconvenience caused and will update you once the issue is resolved. Thank you for your patience and co-operation," Spicejet has said in a post on X.

However, I've also run into a few issues that have given me pause about continuing to use...

Terrell Davis considering legal action against United Airlines United Airlines has apologized to Hall of Fame running back Terrell Davis after an incident that led him to be handcuffed and removed from a flight. Will that be enough to pacify Davis? Davis, his wife and his attorney appeared on CBS’ Good Mornings on Wednesday to discuss the incident, which he called a “ disgusting display of injustice .” His attorney, Parker Stinar, said legal action is being considered. “They need to be held accountable,” Stinar said. “We would love to see policy change. We think that’s very important, beginning with a sincere, true apology.” Davis and his wife, Tamiko, were flying with their three children from Denver to Orange County, California, for a family vacation at Disneyland.
