Microsoft cloud outage causes airlines to ground flights

 

IndiGo, SpiceJet, Akasa and other global airlines check-in systems down due to Microsoft outage



A massive outage at Microsoft led to disruptions in global airlines, apps and some stock exchanges on Friday. In India, check-in systems were down for IndiGo, Akasa, and SpiceJet airlines across the country. Mumbai Airport said that the check-in systems (GoNow) used by airlines IndiGo, Akasa and SpiceJet had been down since 10.45 am.  Read more
