Chasing Deals or Chasing Nightmares? My Love-Hate Relationship with Trip.com

I've had a bit of a mixed experience with Trip.com over the years. On the one hand, I've been able to find some great deals on flights and hotels through their platform, with prices that are often significantly lower than what I can find on other major travel booking sites. The app is also pretty user-friendly and makes it easy to search for and compare options across different destinations.

However, I've also run into a few issues that have given me pause about continuing to use Trip.com for all my travel bookings. The biggest problem I've encountered is with their customer service and handling of changes or cancellations to reservations. A few times now, I've had to deal with flights or hotel stays being canceled or changed by the airline or hotel, only to find that Trip.com's policies make it really difficult and expensive to get a refund or make changes on my end.
